Synopsis
Based on a seasonal suicidal myth in a village in Indonesia, a mother’s dying message fails to keep her estranged children away from the homestead. The siblings Hari and Eka return to find out about the truth behind their mother’s reputation.

Cornelio Sunny
Cornelio Sunny is an Indonesian actor and filmmaker. He is the founder of Matta Cinema. His first feature film as a producer/actor competed in the Tiger Awards Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2012. In 2014, Sunny rose to fame playing the lead in an Indonesian blockbuster action film ‘3 Alif Lam Mim’. As an actor Sunny is known for his artistic films such as ‘The Carousel Never Stops Turning’, ‘Another Trip To The Moon’, and ‘Yokudo’.
With Matta Cinema he produced the films ‘Arini’, ‘Taufiq’, and ‘The Portrait of A Nightmare’. In the year 2019 Sunny was part of the Producers Network program at the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2020 Sunny shot his first directorial debut with the film ‘Death Knot’.
